A Excellent: This highly motivated student solves problems with a degree of imagination that produces outstanding results the majority of the time. The student is prepared, punctual, participates and is a positive force in the class.
B Good: This student has strong visual qualities and represents an appropriate response to the problems presented. The student participates in discussion and demonstrates a sound commitment to the work.
C Average: The student has completed the minimum requirements but solution to various problems and class participation is not seen as above the norm. Work is adequate.
D Below Average: This grade indicates a lack of genuine commitment. The work may be incomplete and attendance/participation is inadequate. The student must retake the course/credit.
F: Failure to complete course requirements to an acceptable standard. The student must retake the course/credit.
