Stippling: (in drawing and painting) marking a surface with numerous small dots or specks
Gridding: laying a gridded pattern to ease the study of replication
Value: the degree of lightness or darkness in a color

Perspective: the art of drawing said objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth and position in relation to each other when viewed from a particular point.
